We will be touring MoonFlower Farms which is located at 3805 Fuqua Street Houston Texas 77047. MoonFlower Farms is a Houston-based pioneer in sustainable hydroponic agriculture and the first indoor vertical farm established in Texas. Founded by Federico Marques, whose work with NASA’s bioregenerative life support systems inspired the company’s mission, MoonFlower Farms applies space-age technologies to address real-world challenges in food security, water conservation, and sustainable agriculture. Through innovative hydroponic systems, educational programs, and research partnerships, the organization works to advance climate-resilient farming while exploring technologies that can support food production both on Earth and in future space missions.

CEO Federico Marques will be giving a talk about the benefits of growing vegetables organically via hydroponics. Alexia will also be presenting heart healthy eating that incorporates her research with Federico. Alexia and Molly hope to see you there!
