The NSS South Houston Space Society is a chapter of the National Space Society dedicated to promoting space exploration, STEM education, and aerospace innovation throughout the Greater Houston region. Located in the heart of America’s space community, our chapter brings together students, educators, engineers, scientists, and space enthusiasts who share a passion for humanity’s future in space.

As the home of NASA’s Johnson Space Center and one of the world’s leading aerospace hubs, Houston offers extraordinary opportunities for young people to become involved in science, technology, engineering, medicine, and space exploration. Yet many students—particularly those in economically disadvantaged communities—lack access to the resources, mentors, and educational opportunities that can help them pursue these careers.

The NSS South Houston Space Society welcomes members of all ages and backgrounds who share a passion for space exploration, science, technology, and discovery. While one of our primary goals is to inspire and educate young people, we believe that learning and curiosity have no age limit.
